Clinical Stabilization of a Multiple Sclerosis Patient After Tonsillectomy

Exacerbations of multiple sclerosis (MS) are associated with viral and bacterial infections. This case report is of a patient who experienced multiple exacerbations associated with recurrent upper respiratory infections and pharyngitis. She was diagnosed with pharyngotonsillitis. After tonsillectomy, her relapse rate, brain magnetic resonance imaging scan, and neurological examination stabilized.
